             A Panel of Community Leaders spoke to hundreds of students at Miami Dade College on Monday Sept. 21, 2009. Among the panelist were Rabbi Leonid Feldman of Temple Beth El and Shaikh Shafayat of Darul Uloom Institute. Dr. Michael Lenaghan, a professor at Miami Dade College was the Moderator of the conference. Also, in attendance at the event was Rev. Gunther and the Former First Lady of Ecuador - Maria Paret-Palacio. The Panelist spoke on "Creating a Culture of Peace," followed by questions from the audience. The event was coordinated by Dr. Jose A. Vicente, the Campus President of Miami Dade College.
